Hi, I'm Bengu!

I’m a London-based UX Designer with a background in marketing. I love figuring out how people think and turning those insights into designs that actually work.
After years of looking at the 'why' behind user data in marketing, I realised I wanted to be the one actually fixing the problems. That’s why I moved into UX. My marketing brain helps me keep business goals in mind, while my design heart focuses on making things easy and intuitive for the user.
My inspirations and interests
I'm a big fan of using AI to remove friction from daily tasks and make workflows smoother. When the repetitive stuff is taken care of, it leaves more room to focus on the thinking that actually matters.
I pick things up quickly and enjoy being thrown into new challenges. I work best when I'm collaborating closely with a team, bouncing ideas around and building on each other's thinking. And underneath all of it, what really drives me is making digital experiences feel more human, intuitive and considered.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of my time in museums and out in nature. Both have a way of feeding into my design thinking in ways I don't always expect, and stepping away from a screen entirely tends to shake loose ideas I'd been stuck on.
I also try to stay involved in the UX community by going to events and meetups fairly regularly. It's a good way to keep up with where the industry is heading, hear different perspectives on UX concepts, and connect with people who care as much about the work as I do.
